美國本科申請essay分析

新的一輪申請季馬上來臨，相信準留學生們都在積極的準備申請材料。下面給大家分享一下美國本科申請essay的相關信息。

1.Essay數量，說到essay數量首先就要說起本科申請的系統(tǒng)。除極少數學校擁有自己的網申系統(tǒng)以及UC院校獨立的系統(tǒng)，大部分學校使用Common，Coalition都可完成網申的遞交。所以大部分學校需要完成Common，Coalition系統(tǒng)固定的一篇essay，字數250-650字，我們稱之為大essay或通用essay。此篇essay有固定題目，從中選擇其一即可。一些學校的申請只需要提交通用essay即可，部分學校會有獨立的essay要求，一般是2-3個，字數250字以內居多。

2.Essay內容，通用essay會設計到以下幾個方面:背景介紹，人物影響，個人經歷，個人成就，個人興趣，個人能力等。比如 Common Essay中Some stuents have a backgroun,ientity interest, or talent that is so meaninqful they believe their ap-plication woul be incomplete without it.if this souns like you,then please share your story.就是問背景的題目;Discuss an accomplishmentevent,or realization that sparke a perio of personal growth an a new unerstaning of yourselfor others.則是關于個人成就的。

其次，關于部分學校獨立的essay一般會問到關于申請院校、專業(yè)的問題，比如普度大學的關于申請專業(yè)的題目Briefly iscuss

your reasons for pursuing the majoryou have selecte.有些學校則會問到你對學校的貢獻或是學校對你有何幫助，比如北卡州立大學的題目就涉及到你對學校的貢獻NC State University is committe to builing a just an inclusive community,one that oes not tolerate unjust orinhumane treatment,an that enounces it, clearly an louly,Please escribe what those wors mean to you an how you will contribute to a more i-verse an inclusive NC State environment.
