北德克薩斯大學(xué)（University of North Texas：UNT）創(chuàng)立于1890年。1987年，美國高等教育學(xué)院認(rèn)定北德州大學(xué)的研究所是德州州內(nèi)最具競爭力的前5名之一；1992年，該校又獲選為美國國家大學(xué)聯(lián)盟成員（Full membership in the National Association of State Universities）。
北德克薩斯大學(xué)音樂學(xué)院是世界上最大的音樂學(xué)院之一。作為第一所提供爵士學(xué)位的音樂學(xué)校，學(xué)校是爵士樂團(tuán)(One OClock)樂隊(duì)的所在地，而該樂團(tuán)已獲得六項(xiàng)格萊美獎(jiǎng)提名。學(xué)校的音樂項(xiàng)目眾多，且每學(xué)年平均有超過1,000場演出，這為音樂學(xué)生提供了充足的機(jī)會(huì)去參加各種合奏和音樂會(huì)。 因?yàn)閁NT音樂學(xué)院是一所綜合音樂學(xué)校，所以學(xué)校提供的東西適用于每一個(gè)從學(xué)士學(xué)位到博士學(xué)位的學(xué)生。

秋季入學(xué)：優(yōu)先考慮12月6日；最后截止日期是 2月21日
2.語言成績
IELTS總分6.0或更高；TOEFL IBT 79，紙考550；PTE總分53或更高
3.曲目要求
鋼琴專業(yè)：
All candidates should prepare as a minimum level:
1) Prelude and Fugue of Bach OR a complete Partita, Toccata or Suite of Bach, from which the faculty will select a few movements
2) COMPLETE classical sonata (Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven) from which the faculty will select a movement
3) Third piece in contrasting style.
小提琴專業(yè)：

Screening:
1) Bach Violin Sonatas and Partitas (BWV 1001-1006): one movement
2) 1st or 3rd movement from a Romantic or Post-Romantic concerto (written after 1800)
Live audition (if invited):
1) Bach Violin Sonatas and Partitas (BWV 1001-1006): two contrasting movements from the same sonata or partita or Chaconne
2) 1st or 3rd movement from a Romantic or Post-Romantic concerto (written after 1800)
3) Either Bach or the movement of a concerto must be memorized.
Concentration (Education, Composition, and B.A.):
1) One or two movements from Bach Violin Sonatas and Partitas (BWV 1001-1006)
2) One movement of a concerto (or a concert piece) showing technical capacity above 3rd and 4th positions. (Exclusions: Meditation from Thais, or any similar slow pieces.)
3) One major and one minor scale (excluding G and A) in 3 octaves to be performed in sixteen notes, 8 or 12 notes per bow, quarter note = 80 or faster)
研究生

comprises a fifteen minute program from memory, including:
1) A prelude and Fugue of J. S. Bach or a complete Toccata , Suite or Partita from which the faculty will choose a few movements.
2) A complete Classical sonata.
3) A work from the Romantic, Impressionistic or Contemporary periods.
吉他專業(yè)：
Proof of having played a solo senior recital or its equivalent is required for admission. Also, each applicant must play an audition consisting of three major works:
1) selections from the Bach Lute Suites or Violin Partitas and Sonatas;
2) a sonata or concerto;
3) any major 20th century work. All three are to be performed from memory.
