　　What's the prime time in your life? Ask tenpeople and you will probably receive tendistinct answers. To name just a few,childhood, teenage years, college years or evenretirement. In my opinion,however, college years are definitely worth the title of “primetime”。

　　你生命中的黃金時間是什么？問十個人，你可能會得到10個不同的答案。只是其中一部分，童年，少年時代，大學(xué)幾年甚至退休。然而，在我看來，大學(xué)時代是值得“黃金時段”的稱號。

　　Perhaps the most crucial role college yearsplay in our lives is to help us set a determinedgoal of the future. It ismisfortunate but true that most teenagers enter college without a realpurposein their mind. However, entering the university does not indicate theachievement ofthe ultimate goal. It is in the college years that studentslearn to develop their true interests,talents, and hopefully set a goal for theircareer path. Take myself for example. Like manyteenagers, I have nothingparticular in mind upon entering. Through taking various generalcourses, Idecided to take up architecture as my major, because I gained deeperperspective ofmy weaks and strongs, which lay the foundation of judging apossible career.

　　也許大學(xué)時代扮演重要的角色在我們的生活中是幫助我們未來的設(shè)定一個確定的目標(biāo)。misfortunate但確實是大多數(shù)青少年沒有真正目的進(jìn)入大學(xué)在他們的腦海中。然而，進(jìn)入大學(xué)并不意味著終目標(biāo)的成就。在大學(xué)時代，學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)發(fā)展自己的真實利益，人才，希望為他們的職業(yè)道路設(shè)定一個目標(biāo)。以我自己為例。像很多青少年一樣，我沒有什么特殊的進(jìn)入。通過采取各種通用課程，我決定拿起架構(gòu)作為我的專業(yè)，因為我更深的角度不同，溫馨，判斷可能的職業(yè)生涯奠定基礎(chǔ)。

　　Apart from the tremendous influence oncareer choosing, college has huge impacts on astudent's interpersonalrelationships. Compared with the real society, high school resemblesmore of a“controlled environment”， where students face less threats andobstacles from interpersonal relationships. The college years, in turn, act asa critical transitional periodbetween the two stages. In college, we learn tocommunicate with people from differentregions and social classes. We learn totolerate others' religious beliefs, living habits and evendifferent races.Cases like these are rare in high schools, most of which admit students onaregional basis.

　　除了對職業(yè)選擇的巨大影響，大學(xué)對學(xué)生的人際關(guān)系有著巨大的影響。與現(xiàn)實社會相比，高中就像一個“控制環(huán)境”，讓學(xué)生從人際關(guān)系面臨更少的威脅和障礙。大學(xué)幾年，反過來，作為一個至關(guān)重要的兩個階段之間的過渡時期。在大學(xué)里，我們學(xué)會與來自不同地區(qū)的人交流和社會階層。我們學(xué)會容忍別人的宗教信仰，生活習(xí)慣，甚至不同種族。這樣的病例在高中，其中大部分承認(rèn)學(xué)生在區(qū)域基礎(chǔ)上。

　　Besides daily communication with studentsand professors on campus, college internshipsalso teach the students a lot.The most obvious advantage is to gain practical knowledge in areal case, whichhelps the students determine whether the goals they set earlier suit themornot. If so, the students learn to cope with the possible challenges layingahead in their futurecareer. And if not, they can make appropriate adjustmentsaccordingly. Another significantadvantage to internship is learning tocooperate with others, which essentially has nothing todo with career choice,but a desired quality of a good employer in any given field, where thestudentslearn to work together with supervisors and peers.

　　除了校園日常與學(xué)生和教授溝通，大學(xué)實習(xí)也教會學(xué)生很多。明顯的優(yōu)勢是獲得實用知識在真實的情況下，幫助學(xué)生確定是否適合他們早些時候他們的目標(biāo)。如果是這樣的話，學(xué)生們學(xué)會應(yīng)對可能的挑戰(zhàn)奠定在他們未來的職業(yè)生涯。如果沒有，他們可以相應(yīng)地做出適當(dāng)?shù)恼{(diào)整。實習(xí)的另一個重要優(yōu)點是學(xué)習(xí)與他人合作，這本質(zhì)上與職業(yè)選擇無關(guān)，但所需的質(zhì)量，一個好的雇主在任何給定的領(lǐng)域，那里的學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)與上司和同事一起工作。

　　To determine the future career path, todevelop interpersonal skills and to acquire thefundamental quality of a goodemployer are the three reasons for my holding that the collegeyears are thebest time in a person's life.

　　確定未來的職業(yè)道路，發(fā)展人際交往能力，獲得一個好雇主的基本質(zhì)量的三個原因是大學(xué)時光是比較好的時間在一個人的生活。
