　　Among all sorts of TV programs flooding the screen, crime reports have become one of thehottest ones without notice. The reasons for this are complex, and some people believe it isnecessary to show the audience the fact existing already. Personally, I cannot agree with thosepeople.

　　Admittedly, some certain numbers of crime reports do influence the whole society positively, tosome extent, such as warning all the would-be criminals. However, the problem is that it also canbe used as learning materials for those professional criminals at the same time, without control,which would bring more damage to society.

　　When it comes to the costs of reporting all those bloody and brutal scenes, there are three mainaspects: Firstly, like what is just mentioned above, crime reports might become the learningmaterials for those would-be criminals as well. Namely, this would also teach those people howto avoid being caught by the police, which is called anti-spy sometimes. Secondly, for thosevictims, it is nothing but the image that recalls their horrible memory once again. It is inhumaneto remind them of what had just happened in their peaceful lives. Even worse, this can be theirworst nightmare. Lastly, the audience wants to watch crime reports only because of theirdegraded taste, who should be guided in a right way by the public media, like the TV station orleading newspapers.

　　In conclusion, TV programs should be verified before they are shown to the public; rating theprograms for the citizens is a good and efficient way to guarantee that kids and others who shouldnot be tinted are safe from harm.
