I am very punctual by nature.I do not like to keep anyone waiting for me, and I also do not like it when anybody makes me wait.
Here I would like to talk about a situation, when it was very important for me to arrive early. It was my cousin Roman’s 14th birthday in February, and my aunt and I had planned a surprise party for him.We had to do everything when he was in school.I reached their home two hours before his arrival and decorated the house with balloons and buntings.
My mother baked the cake and made some snacks. We had invited his friends, but had told them to keep it a secret from Roman.I bought some cold drinks and some ready made fritters and cutlets. Before Roman came home, we had done all decorations and had laid the table. When Roman came home, we welcomed him with a loud birthday greeting song and gave him some hugs.He was very happy.I had bought a storybook for him as a birthday gift.It was a book on tales from Panchromatic. My mother also gave him a box of chocolates. Then his friends started pouring in one by one.He cut the cake and we all wished him. Then we all ate the snacks and had the cold drinks. After that we played musical chairs and danced to our favorite music.
It's a great time and fun.

When we played a lot of recreational projects, we still wanted to ride a roller coaster once again. Suddenly, when I was riding the roller coaster, I found the clown holding balloon and smiling at me.I’s pretty sure that balloon was mine. Why was he holding this balloon? And why laughed at me.

Describe a book you liked to read in your childhood.
You should say:
who wrote this book
what it is about
hen you read it
and explain why you liked it.
I wasn’t much of a bookworm but I did occasionally read novels from time to time during my childhood. In fact, I’d like to talk about a book I read when I was 9 years old, written by Li Hong. Its English name translates as ‘Hero’.
I would have been in primary school at the time, I guess around grade 4, but I can’t remember exactly off the top of my head. Bear in mind that in those days I would rather go outside and play with my friends than read a book, but I remember this book in particular taking up a large portion of my time.
The book is actually the first in a series of 6 books that are set in a fantasy world of old magic, monsters and knights in shining armour. It is set on an epic scale across a vast, vibrant and immensely detailed world with each chapter dedicated to just one character’s viewpoint. It’s perfect for a young boy with a vivid imagination, looking for a bit of adventure.
In this way I think the book really stands out from the others I have read. The plot lines twist and turn with many surprises and cliff-hangers so I found it almost impossible to put down. The speed the story develops makes the book a real page-turner and even though it is nearly 1000 pages long I got through it in under a fortnight.
1. When was the last time you did something in a hurry?
Um… when was it?...Let me have a think…I guess it was probably um… a few weeks ago, when I was on holiday, and I had booked a taxi to arrive at the place where I was staying, at about noon-ish, and I still had some clearing up to do, you know, I didn’t want to leave the place in a mess. So yeah, I was basically in a hurry tidying everything up and getting all my things packed before the taxi arrived.
2. Do you like to finish things quickly?
Yeah I do, cos I really don’t like things to hang over me, you know, it’s just not a nice feeling when you’ve got stuff to do hanging at the back of your mind. So I like to get stuff done as quickly as I can,but saying that, I still want to do it well of course! I mean, I’m not gonna do something haphazardly just to get it done quickly, I still wanna make sure I do it well!
3. What kinds of things do you never do in a hurry?
It’s an interesting question!... I’ve never really thought about that one! What kinds of things will I never do in a hurry?...um… I suppose things I would never do in a hurry would be important things, like coursework which counts towards my final grade, and what else?...I’m kind of hard pressed to think! Um… oh yeah, getting to the airport to catch a flight! You know, I’ll always give myself lots of time to get there, even if it means I arrive at the airport several hours in advance, cos it just gives me peace of mind. I mean, if you miss a flight, then your holiday’s probably gone down the drain, so it can be pretty disastrous!
4. Why do people make mistakes more easily when they are in a hurry?
Um… well thinking about it, I suppose it’s simply because when people are in a hurry, they’re not really thinking clearly. You know, their mind’s kind of um.. how can I put it… I guess you could say flustered, thinking about lots of things at the same time, and not really being focused. So in that state of mind, I think you’d agree it’s easy to overlook things, especially small details, which will likely lead to mistakes being made!
