關(guān)于交通擁堵的雅思作文范文

　　In the past, there were not so many motor vehicles on the road and we enjoyed a very good traffic condition. However, in recent years, traffic jam is a big headache for both the government and individuals. What factors lead to this problem and what we can do to solve it have become a concern to many people.

　　In my opinion, the following reasons are responsible for the disturbing issue. The first reason is that there are more and more residents living in big cities. It is commonly accepted that every year, men and women flood into big cities because there are more job opportunities. Another reason is that there are too many private cars and not enough public buses in big cities. It is well-known that as a result of the increasing income, most families can afford their own cars and some of them even have two cars.

　　In view of the seriousness of the problem, we have no choice but to take immediate measures to address it. In the first place, the government should try its best to shorten the gap between big cities and rural areas. As is known to all, in this way, some people will choose to stay in their hometown and therefore the number of dwellers in big cities will decrease dramatically. In the second place, we should give priority to the development of public transportation and impose restrictions on the use of private cars. It goes without saying that in this way, there will be a sharp decline in the number of motor vehicles on the road.

　　在過(guò)去，道路上沒(méi)有那么多的機(jī)動(dòng)車，我們享受著良好的交通狀況所帶來(lái)的便利。然而，近些年來(lái)，交通擁堵已成為政府和個(gè)人的一大頭疼問(wèn)題。是什么因素導(dǎo)致這個(gè)問(wèn)題的出現(xiàn)，我們能做些什么來(lái)解決此問(wèn)題已成為很多人所關(guān)心的事。

　　在我看來(lái)，以下原因應(yīng)為這令人不安的問(wèn)題而負(fù)責(zé)。第一個(gè)原因，有越來(lái)越多的居民生活在大城市。我們都知道城市中更多的就業(yè)機(jī)會(huì)促使每年都會(huì)有大量的男男女女蜂擁至此。另一個(gè)原因是，在大城市私家車過(guò)多而公交車不夠。眾所周知，隨著收入的增加，多數(shù)家庭可以買得起自己的車，有些甚至有兩輛車。

　　鑒于問(wèn)題的嚴(yán)重性，我們別無(wú)選擇，只有立即采取措施來(lái)解決這個(gè)問(wèn)題。首先，政府應(yīng)該盡全力來(lái)縮小大城市和農(nóng)村地區(qū)之間的差距。眾所周知，這樣一來(lái)，有些人會(huì)選擇留在自己的家鄉(xiāng)，因此在大城市的居民的數(shù)量將會(huì)顯著地減少。第二，我們應(yīng)該優(yōu)先發(fā)展公共交通，限制私家車的使用。不用說(shuō)，通過(guò)這種方式，道路上的機(jī)動(dòng)車數(shù)量將會(huì)急劇下降。
