雅思口語(yǔ)Part3:中國(guó)人注重垃圾分類(lèi)嗎?

Do people in your country care about waste classification?

高分回答

From an overall point of view, not really. Most people in our country do not have theawareness of waste classification at all, and its pretty much self-evident if you just look at the trash cans on the street. A lot of times, you would see that everything is mixed together instead of being separated into the different designated containers. Like, youd haveorganic wastes such as leftover food mixed with recyclable materials like plastic and glass. And I must admit, were not doing so well because we havent been educating our people that much in the past. It was only during the recent years that the government started topromote waste classification, and we still have a long way to go until everyone fully understands the importance of dividing the waste.
